Shaldon is a quaint Georgian village nestling on the river Teign Estuary. It has an old world charm with its winding back streets and pretty thatched cottages. Although Shaldon is a small village there is plenty to do and see Coast view holiday park is situated on sloping parkland and offers stunning views along the coast and out to sea. The nearest beach, Ness Cove Beach (accessed through the “smugglers tunnel”) is clean, safe and sandy with rock pools to explore, great for children and adults alike. Coast View holiday park has much going on to keep the whole family entertained, for the children, there is a special entertainment programme, a covered indoor pool, adventure playground and assault course. Whilst the children splash around, you can relax by the pool, have a drink, a snack, or just take it easy. In the evenings the whole family can come together and enjoy the entertainment in the clubhouse, with disco dancing, games, competitions and the Captain’s Bar. Should you feel the need to be catered for delicious home cooked bar meals and snacks are available. The takeaway also serves good food or in the summer months you can enjoy the outdoor barbecue. Accommodation Accommodation is in a range of caravans and chalets some of which have balconies with great sea views, all have a TV, a kitchen including microwave oven, a bathroom with bath or shower, bed linen, gas and electricity are included in the cost. This is a popular holiday park and is in a prime location and as such Coast View Holiday Park gets booked up quickly, especially for the months of July and August, therefore early booking is recommended.
